We offer a full range of materials including zirconia (monolithic and layered), lithium disilicate (e.max), full-cast metal, porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM), and hybrid ceramics. Zirconia is ideal for posterior strength and esthetics when layered anteriorly. E.max offers superior translucency, especially for anterior restorations. PFM is still preferred in some cases, like long-span bridges, or when cost is a factor. Full-cast remains a gold standard for bruxers and limited interocclusal space.

Zirconia: 1. Surface Preparation: Zirconia Surface: Air abrasion with alumina particles or sandblasting can improve the bond strength.  Tooth Surface: Clean and dry the tooth preparation.  2. Primer Application: Apply a primer containing MDP (10-methacryloxydecyl dihydrogen phosphate) to the zirconia surface. Various brands like  Clearfil Ceramic Primer Plus , Clearfil SE Bond Primer, and Z-Prime Plus are available.  3. Cement Application and Curing: Choose a resin cement, preferably one containing MDP. Apply the cement to the prepared tooth and the inside of the crown. Seat the crown, remove excess cement, and light-cure for proper setting.  4. Additional Considerations: Self-adhesive resin cements are also an option for zirconia restorations. Resin-modified glass ionomer cements (RMGIs) can be used as an alternative, especially in cases where conventional cements like zinc phosphate are not suitable.  5. Timing: The entire process, from preparation to cementation, can take approximately 10-30 minutes.  Important Notes: Avoid using phosphoric acid to clean zirconia. Proper isolation is crucial to ensure the cement's effectiveness.  Occlusal adjustments may be necessary after cementation to ensure proper bite and function.  E.max: Cementing or bonding emax crowns involves preparing both the tooth and the crown's internal surface, applying adhesive and cement, and carefully seating the crown. This process often includes etching, silanating, and using specific adhesives and cements.  Detailed Steps: 1. Preparation of the Tooth: Clean the preparation with a polishing brush and a fluoride-free cleaning paste. Rinse with water and air dry, avoiding over drying. Apply phosphoric acid gel to the enamel for 15-30 seconds. Rinse thoroughly with water and air dry until the enamel appears chalky white. Apply a bonding agent like Single Bond Universal Adhesive.  2. Preparation of the Emax Crown's Internal Surface: Clean the internal surface of the emax crown. Air abrade the intaglio surface with 50- micron aluminum oxide. Clean the intaglio with zirconia cleaner or alcohol. Etch with hydrofluoric acid. Treat the internal surface with silane primer.  3. Adhesive and Cement Application: Apply a bonding technique of your choice. Use dental adhesive like All Bond Universal on the tooth preparation. Use a dual-cure resin cement like Duo-Link Universal. Apply cement to the internal surface of the crown.  4. Seating and Finalization: Seat the crown firmly with finger pressure. Gross excess cement is removed gently with a micro brush. Light cure for a few seconds initially for tack cure. Remove excess cement with an explorer or scaler. Interproximal cement is removed with floss or polishing strips.  Important Considerations: Emax crowns are often bonded, not just cemented, for a stronger and more durable restoration.  Careful etching of the ceramic internal surface is crucial for a strong bond.  Using a silane coupling agent on the ceramic surface enhances bonding.  Different cement systems and adhesive protocols exist, and the specific steps may vary depending on the chosen materials. Follow manufacturer instructions. Proper cleanup of excess cement is essential for achieving a smooth, esthetic restoration .  PFM/Metal: Rely on mechanical retention with glass ionomer or resin-modified glass ionomer.

Absolutely. We accept STL files from all major scanners (e.g., iTero, Trios, Medit). Digital impressions often reduce chair time, remakes, and marginal errors. We also offer intra-oral scan support for first-time users.

We use digital CAD design, controlled milling, and microscope-based finishing. Our margin gap threshold is ≤60 microns for single units and ≤90 microns for bridges — well below the clinical tolerance of 120 microns.
